Clean laundry that was line dried.
    Fresh ground coffee brewing.
Meat cooking on the grill or smoker, preferably wood or charcoal.
The fresh & clean scent of a very recent shower.
The non-smell of a properly tuned diesel engine. Yes, this is a weird one, maybe Ralphie will apprreciate it.

My pee after eating asparagus. I'm kidding.
My smoker full of pork shoulder.
Hot waxing my snowboard (not flouro wax, that is toxic).
Not really a scent, but I love when I'm early out on the slopes, and the temp is below say 15 degrees. You inhale deeply through your nose, and you can feel your nose hairs freeze up. That's a good start to the day.

Daniel_ The devil made me do it...

    Sautéed onions, as I cook.
As has been mentioned before, the smells of sex. Before, during, after.
    Rain on a hot road.
    Trees and grass at night.
    The beach.

The scent of fire, because it reminds me of festivals.
Summer rain, the one where the ground is really dry and it suddenly rains, it smells so sweet and lovely.
The after shave my brother used to wear when he still lived at home... I still think it smells way too sweet, but it just reminds me of good times
Other than that... Some flowers, hay, old books, old warehouses.

The smell of the Atlantic Ocean when you get at least 1,000 miles out from shore. The point where the water is that wonderful deep purple you never see closer to land.
Getting flashbacks to the bridge asking if we knew anything about the 5 mile long oil slick behind the ship......"Who us? Why would you ask the people that are definitely NOT stripping water of a fuel tank without asking permission first?"

Ahh, another thread that started and flourished while I took my hiatus. Smells bring back memories to me. Some of my faves...
    Old books... (thanks, @levite)
Western red cedar... sagebrush... (thanks, @snowy)
Eucalyptus... fresh cut grass... (thanks, @PonyPotato)
Clean laundry that was line dried... well tuned diesel (my elementary school bus:)) engine... (thanks, @Chris Noyb)
Smoker full of pork shoulder... (and BBQ in general, thanks, @omega)

And I will add a few of my own the smell of

    A feed store
An old auto repair garage, like one in my home town, in business since the 1920s
My string bass, or a violin shop
Civet oil, my go to body fragrance
    Symphony Hall in Boston

The smell of the earth after a field has been fresh-tilled in the spring. Or a corn field after harvest. Those or bacon frying up, that's a good one.

I like the aroma. It's similar to musk, but different, like lime is similar but different from lemon.

I've never been close enough to a civet (not a cat, by the way) to know what they smell like.
But people of both genders (OK, people of however many genders there are) wear musk scent and no one asks why they would want to smell like an ox or a rat.

Speaking of civets, there are folks who pay big buck to enjoy coffee processed by passing through a civet, then extracted from civet poop. I am not clever enough to conceptualize and make up something like this.
