What is your Nature?

I'm a natural optimist, people pleaser and caregiver. I understand others well; I help them problem solve. I need to have at least a rough plan. I have a schedule and I like the people around me to have one, too.
If I don't keep it in check, I can seem pushy but it is my fear of chaos that drives me, despite the world being a big, sloppy mess.
I can be manipulative and standoff-ish. These are traits I keep well-hidden. I can be judgmental but I trust my instincts and when something seems rotten, it probably is.
I am a sucker for kind people. If you do me a kindness, you are in my good books. Something as small as a hug, a kind word.
But, to flip that, if you reject or snub me, I don't forget that. For a time, I'll try to please you then when it is apparent my efforts are for naught, I give up and tell myself that it is your loss.
I am polite, most especially to someone serving me--the movie ticket girl tonight. People don't even say thank you! (I had asked her how full theatre was as we were seeing a first run movie opening weekend--she checked, 58% full--good--it was a go.)

Yes, when I'm out in the real-world jungle, I behave the way I was brought up--with class.
However, sometimes when I get too excited I get a bit loud--over-enthusiastic--and I need to lower my voice. Not often, but both the quiet people I live with let me know if I'm too happy.
I am not a political animal, I can be rather naive and trusting. I look for the good in people; that has burned me a few times but heh, it's in my nature.

 

I have a knack, and love the work of math(s). Without the work, I wouldn't have much to show for my natural tendencies.

I'm just not drawn to socialize much, so I don't talk. I do have to work at communications, but without the knack, or ease that I have with doing math(s) and associated tasks, like pattern matching. I have a knack for reading and comprehending, but speaking is a problem. Unlike math, I don't like the work of communication. It drains me.

 

I detach and analyze. I find weaknesses and correct them. I find strengths and learn them.
