    Have to say, I have eaten at in-n-out several times, and it does not live up to the hype. Plus the fries have been uniformly starchy and terrible.

    I agree with the assessment of In & Out burger. If you're in the mood for a good burger, try and locate a "Fatburger". MUCH better.

    I'm not 100% sure I can name one favorite fast food joint. It depends on my mood. I Like Subway, Wendy's and Fatburger of course. Taco Bell is good when you've got the munchies. I'll think some more and answer later.

    You'll know EXACTLY where I grew up (but no longer live) if you know
    Jim & Tom's or Paco's Tacos on Irving Park (both gone due to airport expansion)
    and White Cottage Pizza on Wood Dale Rd.
