what is wrong with this world

i don't mean ISIS, more like talaban and things to that nature,

yes those things are higher here in the bible belt


like, I was watching the news last night and they had a story about a man that got slammed to the ground by the police and now he is suing the police department for excessice force. you could clearly see in the video they were yelling at the guy to get on the ground, and he was just standing out there, so they threw him to the ground. come to find out the guy dosent speak a lick of English. now correct me but how are the police suposto know that?

 

We live in a litigious society, people will sue over anything. Which results in frivolous lawsuits. The thing is for our justice system to work as intended, all cases need to be allowed.

Some people take a "I wasn't doing anything wrong, therefore I don't have to listen to orders from the police." Is some cases it's the "victim's" fault for not following police orders. In other cases the police overstep their authority and/or overeact. Frequently it's combination of the two.

My wife & I take differing stances. She says Bland should've done everything the deputy said without question. I say the deputy (edit--went into the situation with a bad attitude to start with, you can hear it in his voice) overstepped his authority by ordering (not asking) her to put out her cigarette (she was sitting in her car) and then ordering her out of the car.

 

I think the World and yes the USA is a FUCKED UP place, I truly believe that all our systems are no longer working. Government at every level, health care. Pharmaceutical, education and my local grocer. The police in Oklahoma don't protect or serve they actually oppress and arrest. I don't see any of taking care of the people, I see taking as much as possible from the people. Sometimes I think this country is just too big. Maybe we'd be better as 50 individual countries instead. I don't want to live in the country where Ralphie wants to live

 

Why is society drawing a line in the sand against the police? People need to stop murdering the police! It's a losing proposition. The fucking police started this fight against civilians by murdering our citizens and getting away with it. The sworn to protect have been killing un armed citizens for as long as there have been police. We have given the police full control of our freedoms. And they blantletly abuse their power. The fucking police and government agencies want to take away our guns. I have a better idea, let's dis arm the police. All of them are licensed killers with a supportive Dept of Justice. Justice my ass.

 

Sir Robert Peel, the man who developed the British police force had nine basic principles that I think our police need to get learn.

Peelian Principle 1 - “The basic mission for which the police exist is to prevent crime and disorder.”

Peelian Principle 2 - “The ability of the police to perform their duties is dependent upon public approval of police actions.”

Peelian Principle 3 - “Police must secure the willing co-operation of the public in voluntary observance of the law to be able to secure and maintain the respect of the public.”

Peelian Principle 4 - “The degree of co-operation of the public that can be secured diminishes proportionately to the necessity of the use of physical force.”

Peelian Principle 5 - “Police seek and preserve public favour not by catering to the public opinion but by constantly demonstrating absolute impartial service to the law.”

Peelian Principle 6 - “Police use physical force to the extent necessary to secure observance of the law or to restore order only when the exercise of persuasion, advice and warning is found to be insufficient.”

Peelian Principle 7 - “Police, at all times, should maintain a relationship with the public that gives reality to the historic tradition that the police are the public and the public are the police; the police being only members of the public who are paid to give full-time attention to duties which are incumbent on every citizen in the interests of community welfare and existence.”

Peelian Principle 8 - “Police should always direct their action strictly towards their functions and never appear to usurp the powers of the judiciary.”

Peelian Principle 9 - “The test of police efficiency is the absence of crime and disorder, not the visible evidence of police action in dealing with it.”

 

Here's another thing wrong with this world. Politics, not a single politician can get anything done. POTUS doesn't have the time in a 4 year term to destroy ISIS, get our debt under control or do anything else that helps us.President Obama is the only one that has come close since Mr. Reagan and that has been many years. I hate all the lies and broken promises. The backroom deals and hidden agenda. I don't know if our world will continue as we know it and that is a scary thought due to the fact that it's totally out of my conrol. Our county Sheriff is up for election, this election is party decided. Democrats or Republicans. I wasn't allowed to vote in the primary because no Democrats were running. WHY WHY is the Sheriff position party oriented? If I need a Sheriff to help me, and I hope to God I won't, I don't want my party affiliation to determine how much or little assistance I may receive. " Uh 911 what's your problem and your party affiliate ?"

 

Great now the DNC has rigged the Primary against Bernie. . Who is really in charge? It's certainly not us the American Public.
