There's a place on the way to the coast from here where the guy sells his own bacon. He raises the pigs and cures it himself. You just have to hope the bacon sign is out when driving by.

There is a French Market all spring-fall here on certain Saturdays. It has been ranked in various Country Living type magazines and shows as one you must visit. This farm has a huge stand there with all sorts of pork products, both cooked right there for you, or to bring home. They also will sell whole hogs that you can pick up at the farm. We almost always stock up on pork from them, great stuff.

We have chickens - it definitely isn't cheaper than buying eggs from the shops, but they are soooo much nicer :)

Because @Charlatan had an omelet, I had to have one too. Cheese with sour cream and guacamole. Yum.

We cooked a huge Sunday breakfast after getting to sleep in till 7:30. Eggs cooked eyes open, hash browns, bacon, pillsbury biscuits with sausage gravy, blueberry pancakes with local honey and hot Lipton tea. I won't be able to eat again all day.

  14. We have the same breakfast every day. :-(

    Boiled egg
    Avocado
    Fruit

The fruit gets changed up depending on season, but that's the typical menu. I don't complain too much about breakfast since my job in the am is to get ToddlerSquirrel ready while DaddySquirrel makes breakfast.

We did mix it up on Sunday and had scrambled eggs with cheese and salsa on a tortilla per my request.
