    This thread creeps me out. :confused:

    I'm pretty okay with most insects. Except cockroaches and maggots. I will turn into a total girl if I encounter either of those.

    Leaving the closet door open at night creeps me out.


    Oh, and mold. I really don't deal well with mold.

    I creep myself out whenever I see a dark blank window at night. I stare at it, just waiting for a face to suddenly appear and give me a fright.
    I can hardly look away.

    Also, Cayvmann 's under-bed monster post in Pointless Announcements creeped me out.

    I am disappointed that I haven't been mentioned by name by the Women of TFP yet. I figured I was good for a bashing by ZombieSquirrel, but I guess not. Oh well, time to turn up the Creep Factor.

    Swimming in dark water always gets me, whether it's muddy or something else. If I can't see my feet, I'm generally not too happy about being wet.
    Semi trucks with a certain paint job - it was on a wanted poster for a friend of mine who was murdered.

    What creeps me out is the thousand leggers that are in the basement, about 2 inches long. When I was on the island St Croix, well those really
    creeped me out, 4 inches long with stingers.

    Clowns. And circus acts with work without a safety net.
    Some small children who walk around with that round eyed 'Out of a sense of mild curiosity, I kill things that are smaller than me' look on their faces.
    Insects ... my fondness for spiders does not mean I want them to touch me, though I typically let them set up their webs as long as they stay focussed and don't go walkabout. Butterflies an moths .. oh, indeed, I don't want them fluttering AT me. I was taken to a feckin' butterfly and moth sanctuary and I'll not go in there again. No way.
    Oh, and some of the competitors on Joe Rogan's Fear Factor creep me out.

    1. I once dated a girl who had a mouth that big (or seemed like it anyway)

    Insects in general, but I don't often let it show. As a teacher of very small children, I don't want to teach them to be creeped out.

    I am creeped out by spiders, but also fascinated by them. I try very hard not to kill spiders because I prefer them over insects. My house has several giant house spiders hanging around in the basement and attice. I tend to leave them alone. My cats occasionally hunt them when they move into the more accessible areas of the house.

    I'm sure there are other things, but those are the two I think about and reflect on the most.
