Reread Anne's House of Dreams by L.M. Montgomery today as my own three-year anniversary approaches. It's a dear, sweet book that always, always makes me cry. I really should reread the whole series.

The King Killer Chronicles book 2 (finished it several weeks ago and can't wait for book 3)
The Cuckoo's Calling (better than The Casual Vacancy and less depressing)
The Mortal Instrument-book 1 (such a poorly written piece of shit book and the movie was awful)

Bernard Cornwell's Arthurian trilogy-- I'm midway through book two now. Finding it diverting, but not amazing.

It takes great effort and skill to teach Shakespeare to kids, but it's so worth it!

Now moving on to Micro, by Michael Chrichton. It's his last, an unfinished novel, completed by a second author. Only 40 pages in, but so far I'm not impressed.

    The Companions by R.A. Salvatore
First of a new saga on the classic Forgotten Realms world...looks like they're shaking things up since it's called all-together as "The Sundering"

Nice no brainer to go to sleep to...
Perhaps I can swash-buckle like Drizzt Do'urden in my dreams.

  13. 'Tis a shame this never became a tv series like he planned. Could have been interesting. How many books are there now? I have only read the first three.

Not sure, I''ve only started the most recent ones, but I will go back and read the others. I think there are 4 in total.

    Right now, I'm reading:

It's Not Love, It's Just Paris by Patricia Engel. Just started this one. I admit that I picked it purely because it was reviewed by the NYTimes Sunday Book Review and sounded interesting.
The Art of Fermentation by Sandor Katz. I might have to buy this one as a reference.
Becoming Marie Antoinette by Juliet Grey. It's a fictionalized account of the early life of Maria Antonia, as she was known as a child. It's a really good read and well-researched.

Currently I am reading my way through Insomnia by Stephen King.
I'm generally not a big Stephen King fan, I normally pick up one of his books because they are long with small print. I'm using this one as a palete cleanser between trilogies.
But I'm actually enjoying this one. I don't want to speak too soon, I'm only 400pages in. The story can still take a turn for the worst.
    So far so good...
