    John Dies at the End. I recommend reading the book before watching the movie, but I made the mistake of watching the movie before the book so I already know everything. And it is a really strange story.

    I snagged The Dog Lived (and So Will I) as a Kindle Daily Deal a few days ago. It's not bad, but if I had known ahead of time that it was non-fiction mostly medical patient stuff, I probably would've skipped it.

    I also snagged A Million Suns, the sequel to Across the Universe, by Beth Revis. That one's next.

    It's the last book of a series of sagas...30 books, 30 years.
    Started with the first, Magician, back when I picked it up when I was 15 yo, in my grandma's bookshop.

    I must have read the first book 30 times...the whole series several times.

    I'm going to miss their continuing stories...

    Finally winding toward the climax of Dracula.
    I'm also getting into God on the Streets of Gotham, by Paul Asay. Downloaded it for free from Amazon. It draws Batman as a type-of-Christ, and illustrates how we can look beyond our flaws and damage to see the inherent divinity in each of us. Non- or anti-christians and comic book haters need not look into it.

    The Postman by David Brin. It's for book club, and I've read it before--it was actually one of my suggestions after S.M. Stirling's The Change series came up in conversation. I'm a fan of novels set in Oregon in general, and it's interesting to see the take on my region after TEOTWAWKI.
