Just trying to note Talie is only 12 years old. Damned amazing voice & emotion for her age.

 

@ redravin...there was a band in Seattle during the grunge years called Dickless. They had maybe 5 or 6 songs go to vinyl. They rock like that. Very short songs, very hard presentation.
In small clubs they rocked so hard...
Anyway you might like them if you take a moment to look them up on utube....

Just recently listened to this for a couple days.
Pretty solid representation of the grunge times in Seattle. The whole album is pretty great except maybe the quiet rendition of Beth.

I'm going to have to see if I can pick that up.

 

I have the vinyl and just got the original cover cd on c/z records.
Ppl are asking a lot on eBay, I got mine off silver platters website and they're local to me.

Untill you can find a physical copy you could rip from utube with audacity if you want actual mp3 files. I couldn't find any of it on Spotify.

This isn't the best A/V quality, and the acoustic guitars sound like they played through amplification set up for electric guitars, but it's the closest I found to an acoustic version of Celluloids Heroes.



How about a more rocking version? With some very nice electric guitar work by Dave Davies.

I saw Peter Gabriel live at The Summit. When he performed Biko they darkened the hall with just one light on him. He stood perfectly still the entire song (obviously he had to move his mouth ). Simple, and effective.
