Yesterday I went from listening to Dell Shannon's Greatest Hits (digitally transferred, but not remastered) to Frank Sinatra (clearly a collection of misc lesser recordings, the sound/recording quality varied greatly).

A chance encounter with an old mix-CD started a musical journey into my past.
15 years ago, a split-CD with Dimmu Borgir and Old Man's Child was released. I've listened to it hundreds of times, but kinda forgot about it for years until last week when I got an "Old Dimmu" craving.(Do not go beyond to Enthrone Darkness..). I found this old gem;"Devil's Path/ In The Shades Of Life". It still holds up, and the last song is just.. great.
