Food What are you drinking right now?

Sobriety is no picnic, but it isn't that bad. Some people will be damned if they don't spend every minute of the rest of their life sober.

I never cared for the taste of alcohol so my intake was usually limited to an occasional frozen strawberry margarita when eating out at a restaurant that served alcoholic beverages, especially when I was eating spicy food (which I absolutely lov).

I am currently alternating sips between tea with honey and strawberry lemonade. (Yes, it sounds weird, suits me perfectlyeven with past days of horrible weather)

 

I'm sorry Chris. Sometimes I say things that are really thoughtless.

Congrats on your 6 year, two month sobriety! That's fantastic!


I don't drink a lot. Never could. Usually, I have one to two drinks a month. I've been recently told that I shouldn't for the rest of my life because of the meds I'm on (depression). So, I'm a little angry about that. No excuse for being thoughtless though.

 

Your apology is totally unnecessary. Hey, I'm the one posting about sobriety in a thread titled What are drinking right now?.

I don't mean to bum anyone out. Some people can control their partying, I can't control mine.

Please continue, I'll shut up abour sobriety.

 

I'm at the Ballarat Beer Festival. I'm drinking all sorts of craft beers and some local wines.

I've graduated up to the harder stuff: iced tea.

 

Fresca Black Cherry Citrus.
This would be good for a homemade wine cooler.
