    You know, I've tried a couple of different 'flavors' of LaCroix, but (and this is apparently me going against my Millenial Generation or whatever) I could never get into it. It's the same reason why I'm not a fan of seltzer or soda water - I feel like I'm just drinking carbonation without much 'body' to the liquid.

    In defense, I'm also not a fan of flavored water - if I'm drinking something, I'd rather it either *be* water, or I want to be punched in the mouth with flavor of some sort.

    Anyone here have a TDS meter....its a cheap device I bought on AMAZON that measures Total Dissolved Solids in water....very eye opening...

    Last night I had a great Imperial Oatmeal Stout at Grand River Brewery in Jackson, MI. Excellent pairing with their pulled pork and chili.

    As a seasoned traveler, one pro-tip for in room hotel coffee (most decent chains put a mini-coffee maker in the room nowadays). Use bottled water. Doesn't save it completely, but makes it more palatable to choke down.

    I don't like plain water. I only drink it if there are no other options. I prefer flavor and bubbles. I especially like the passionfruit flavor of LaCroix.

    Right now, I'm drinking Polar Black Cherry seltzer.

    Well, shit happens, we are back from a cruise and last time Mrs DAKA got a cold...this time it's me
    So, since water is so boring and you do need to drink, I have CranApple juice mixed with half water....
