    Picked up a fair trade, organic Rwandan coffee from our local shop a couple days ago. Very good. It has a slightly more roasty finish than the previous African coffee we had. African coffees tend towards being fruity; this one, not so much. It has a malty finish, almost like a tea.

    Went East Coast. First Old Dominion brew I've sampled, but my guy at the beer store praised it, so I'm giving it a try. Morning Glory Espresso Stout. Didn't notice until I got home and really read the label: 9% ABV. Less creamy and a bit more hoppy than most stouts I have had, but not unpleasant. 2/3 of a bottle into it and, after the day I have had, I think one will be plenty for tonight.

    /lightweight after a rough Monday.
