It was the result of consolidating what I could save from a standing freezer that will soon no longer be in my possession. I'm just hoping I can consume the majority of what's in there now before it's lost completely to freezer burn!

Just a sight on my morning walk to the gym. Some young lady driving a long crossed two lanes (empty at that hour thankfully) of on coming traffic and smashed into a light pole. Never even hit the brakes. She got out and stood next to it. Looked fine to me, maybe a little dazed. Asked if she could use my phone, sure. I looked in the car, mainly to see if she had passengers. She didn't but I could see light coming from the passenger floorboard... her cell. On it was a half written text message. The police arrived about 10 sec. later and I showed the head officer her phone with the text message. No idea what happened after that I continued on to the gym.

Not my car. Young lady seemed fine. Given the way things work here based on her last name she'll either get a huge fine for texting and driving or a ride home so her parent can go buy her another car this afternoon. Given the way she was dressed and her demeanor I'd guess the latter.

Sitting at the dinky airport waiting for my sister to arrive. She has hitched a ride back from Asheville with our brother in law. He has his own plane. I hate riding in small planes. *retch*

What are you doing Thursday night, @ralphie250? We drive right through Atlanta on the homeward journey. It's @6.5 or 7 hours from here. We haven't decided what time were heading north, yet. The opportunity to drop in to meet you could help us make up our minds.
