Bushfire season is starting early in Australia this year

 

Outside my hotel window, no view. Yep I'm bored at 7am while waiting for my ride to work.

 

I broke the internet.

 

I splurged a little on the room. But i got a really good rate on hotels.com. and it's within walking distance of the strip...and the bars...and the tattoo shops. And the tattooed men that lurk within them. Lord help me.

 

And it has a motherfucking Keurig.

 

Make sure you wash your hands first.

 

At the legendary Columbia restaurant. Relegated to the bar because there was already a wait for tables. Lots of cackling couples in my vicinity. A vaguely Vince Guaraldi piano man in the background. Barmaid is awesome.

Oh cynthetiq I wonder if I'd think that is good. I've been a vegetarian for over a decade, but the other day, DaddySquirrel was cooking some maple sausage. It smelled REALLY good.
