While strolling by Lake Brunnsvicken here in Stockholm I stopped to check out how these mossy roots lifted clear of the rocks they stood over top of. The water behind them added a certain something to the whole look.

 

Same shit just bigger.

 

Someone apparently found this little guy overnight and left him in a carrier out in front of where I work. Raining outside and all. He's really cute. He has a microchip, but the owners never registered it and the vet where it was inserted can't look up animals by microchip number (wtf?). So he hung out with me all morning. Someone from the pet store next door is taking him home. He's sweet and has a frigging ridiculous under bite.

 

A girl I play with on an online browser game and am FB friends with is really into hockey and unicorns.
She named her faction's Stronghold (which is housed in a Stygian bar) The Drunken Unicorn.
She would probably hip-check someone for those socks.

This is the moment of discovering pears for the first time. He'd never had them before (he's only just starting on real food). I'm making my own baby food from fresh organic fruits and veggies. So far pears seems to be the biggest hit, though he likes them all.



She's on her way back from the groomer in this pic. She knows she's extra soft and fluffy when she's just been groomed, and this is her way of basically going, "You wouldn't believe how soft I am right now. It's hard to imagine how you're not petting me. If I had hands, I would be petting me."



I have no idea what this is, but it's on the shelf in the Asian aisle of my favorite supermarket, and I couldn't resist taking the pic. It seems vaguely dessert-y, but it sounds like the villain from a cheap 1950s Japanese monster movie.

 

Engine 15 is one of my favorite places on earth.
