(Unproductive) Things You Do When You're Bored

everything i do is productive.
even things that don't accomplish anything.

only an american would ask this question.

 

I try to annoy the people on the 'American Renaissance' site. I only get about 1 in 25 comments published, but it still amuses me to try.
Yesterday Mrs. Stick came into our computer room, saw I was posting some provocative statements there, shook her head, laughed and went back to
to watching tv.

 

When bored (and boy that happens fast) there's always the Internet, but my main "bored occupation" is doodling and sketching designs/plans for stuff I would like to build. If I don't have access to pen and paper I drum on every surface available - checking out the different sounds I can get and try to come up with some cool grooves.

 

check out internet porn and wonder how much money I could be making with this down time if I were a little more motivated and intelligent

 

I get sucked into the internet - generally read news sites, check out same story of different websites - it amuses me to spot the difference in the reports of supposed facts. Then I generally read tech blogs and sites and find some sort of gadget I like. Once I have found a gadget I research similar gadgets and prices, imagine how much better my life would be with said item. Then spend the next couple of hours convincing I don't need it and find all sorts of downfalls with item. Then I generally try to find some friends online either in a forum or chat room and after a while get bored because no one is talking to me/replying to my threads. At this point I give up and go for a nap!

Oooooohhhhh just found something new to play with - Andriod os on my PC! *wonders how usable it is? Could I fill my touch screen netbook with android apps?*
