    1. I'm not buying that the article was serious. It's all too obvious.

    2. If it was serious, then I pretty much agree with poetry in principle. BUT, she didn't write the article from the idea that 'this is what I want to do,' but rather 'this is what women should do.' Which is just stupid and rightfully deserving of approbation from anyone who has the inclination to take out the lambast bat.

    This is the thing.

If this article is serious, and a) the female author suggests that forgoing a quality education is what women in principle should do, while b) she writes sentences such as "I believe that every girl should marry every guy that is rich so they never have to work," then c) it should come as no surprise that there are those who wish to pull out their lambast bat.

I'd like to see every girl try to marry every rich guy. I really would. It could be like a contest to see who can get the most. Maybe a reality show?

A lot of girls already play the find a rich guy (or who has a rich family) game.

...at least you have a beard.

    ...

My problem with this post--aside from Obvious Troll is Obvious--is that are there really that many dudes out there that want a Real Doll that shits?

I think not. I think if my partner wanted to be a stay-at-home fuck toy I would quickly tire of dumping money into an orifice instead of a sidekick.

She loves Twilight, and I love her for that and in general... I never read, but watched.
I get so mixed up watching Bella, I feel like a boy a moment and feel like a dad another moment... And I am just 36

Well, I'm male, and new to this board, so two strikes against me, but after cruising through this thread, I had to add a voice. I will agree with all the women, and others, who point out how rewarding they find/found their education (does the lack of a dissenting female voice mean that all the dumb bimbos have been scared off?), and that they expect/have found that an education is worth it financially as well. Agreed.

What no one here has pointed out is how much more attractive an intelligent woman is. You can go to the bars or other places to find a cute body that is to your liking. And after a suitable period, you will find that she (or he, if you are an intelligent female looking through this mirror the other way), you will get bored and move on. On the other hand, I find that an intelligent woman can be...seductive, alluring...in other words, an attraction for the long term, not just a sex-toy. You will have things to talk about other than the grocery list. Books and authors to share, art you both enjoy, travel; you can even find pursuits where you are not together with your mate constantly and then return, stronger and wiser.

I also agree with several posters above that point out that our culture vastly over-rates college for the average kid who just wants a job. We need, badly, a strong program of trades education (have you paid for a plumber lately? an electrician? can you find a carpenter who even knows what a hammer is?). There are a lot of kids out there for whom that would be quite sufficient, and I work with a lot of them that would be happy to get even that (they're in retail right now, and it sucks). College, and post-grad work, should be for those with the ability and desire to improve their minds, and perhaps to make a contribution to their chosen field, or to teach others.

    Bear Cub Goes down smooth.

I just really want to know what paper that originated from, so that I can come on board as EIC. Not because of my literary prowess, keen eye for reporting, or uncanny English abilities, but because there is no way that anyone can write something so retarded and still make the staff without sucking a LOT of dick.
