Agree to play by the rules, or stay out of the game.

Trump can’t speak during closing arguments in NY civil fraud trial, judge says | CNN Politics

I think NPD Trump's attorneys have made another move in an effort to help their inevitable appeal. They know they can't stop him from being his mouthy self, yet they request that he be allowed to speak.

Engoron wisely gave them several extensions, which will show he was sincere in offering NPD Trump the chance to speak. And he made the guidelines very clear, thereby making Agent Orange 45's attorneys responsible for prepping their client.

    Edit to add:

Donald Trump spoke out in court saying he should 'receive damages' due to 'witch hunt'

Setting aside the bomb threat directed at Judege Engoron...

    WTF?

How & why was NPD Trump allowed to speak? Did he speak for nearly six minutes before being cut off? The news article doesn't explain how & why was allowed to speak.

Don't back off, that's exactly what allows Agent Orange 45 to get away with his BS. BS that goes unchallenged becomes the truth and/or acceptable.

No matter what, a loss is a loss
And it will piss him off.

Hopefully, get him dinged yet again.

He's already having to pay the woman he raped yet again, because he opened his mouth to disparage her after her first win.

Any loss is a win. (for the rest of us)
    It piles up.

    A thought:

NPD Trump runs as the Repub candidate; he loses. He ends up with a huge sum of money* in his war chest, which he can keep and spend as he sees fit. NPD Trump sees this as a win.

Of course in his narcissistic mind losing the election would be unacceptable.

*What constitutes "a huge sum of money" to Agent Orange 45?

    Anything really.
This is his MO...it all adds up
He's declared bankruptsy 7 times and rebuild bit by bit, scam by scam
    All on audacity and lies.

If he's able to keep it, then he'll try to turn it around onto another thing. Or use it to impress others to get what he wants.

Frankly, this is kind of what banks do...keeping as many assets as possible, AND projections of assets (like what you will potentially make in your paycheck)
To turn it around, seem stable and loan it out.
This is why banks collapse and there are laws to prevent them from going too far. (they always need a certain % of hard assets)

But Chump lies about all this. There's no asset maintainance laws on him.
But there ARE the laws about what you declare as assets for your loans. Thus the fraud trial.

He's goes through it WAY too quick though.
    Lawyers, lifestyle and so on.

That "huge sum" will likely disappear like it's a 20 being used on the last tank of gas.

That's the big reason for the NYC trial, once he's on the hook for that and loses his licenses.
No one will license him elsewhere, or few will...and it gives the hook into tons of lawsuits against him.

He's going to have a big drought soon...no amount $$$ will help.
Unless the US is stupid enough to vote him in again.
    Then all bets are off.

    An acceptable alternative:
    He goes to prison.
    Goes broke.
    Dies broke in prison.

Attorney Joe Tacopina withdraws from Trump's legal team

Not good when a whole firm drops ya. Especially right before a case that's in judgement for penalties...and right before another that's a recap of a previous loss.
And Georgia ain't looking too pretty either.

Then again, Chump goes through lawyers like toilet paper. (he certainly treats them that way)
Guess there will be another huge deposit to get another firm on the cases. (they want their $$$ up front and who can blame them??)

Tacopina wasn't the lead attorney, which should (hopefully) help denying any motions to delay the trial. But he was one on NPD Trump's most experienced criminal attorneys.

Nice to know Agent Orange 45 can't keep the attorney he most likely really needs.

I thought Joe was already gone. I spose he doesn't want to go groundhog day over defamation case he lost, and knows he'll loose again as long as T has fingers and vocal cords.

I was curious, losing streak because of a clearly guilty bad client, or not getting paid?

Polls Show Trump Could Be Doomed If He’s Convicted. Will a Trial Happen in Time?

No, it won't likely happen on time.
And the GOP won't likely dump him, they're too far committed on all counts.
And of his voters, few will likely switch...it's the cult of personality. They'll rationalize their choice.

It's up to the Dems, Independents...and getting out the vote to get those who typically don't vote to do so.

We'll be hearing this asshole's name for a while...:confused::mad::(:rolleyes:

NPD Trump's base is going to support him no matter what. What I find really odd not all of his hard-core supporters are low IQ dumbasses.

The Jan 06 Case is the biggie. The Documents Case is as well, but with a pro-Trump judge named Aileen Cannon-Trump.

How much will it take to get the fencesitters to realize NPD Trump shouldn't be reelected?

If they haven't by now...almost nothing will turn them.
They'll just keep rationalizing and twisting logic.

Just like most of the Jan 6th rioters double down with their excuses, even if they were jailed and had many federal penalties.

It's about teams, sides and tribes - us vs them.

Trump threatens to blacklist Nikki Haley's donors

No use being an asshole unless you can prove it.
With him, it's about intimidation & revenge.

And if elected, it will keep on going.
Even using the military and all powers to exact a price, to get back at any insult.
