Suppose the case goes to trial (let's optimistically say without interfering with any other NPD Trump cases), & he is required to actually prove his claims. That could be very interesting.

Report: The DOJ Thinks Trump Still Has Classified Documents Because, Hello? That’s Exactly the Kind of Sh*t He’d Pull — Vanity Fair

    Exactly
The man lies like he breathes.
And he probably can’t breathe that well either in the shape he’s in.

    Again, assume the worst.
Tell the FBI and all the other alphabet soup of Depts & entities of the federal government that they are going to have to drill down and examine every crevice, nook & cranny of their docs and valuables.
Much less how things were used, copied and given out.

Pretend y’all are looking for crabs, lice & fleas in the foul stench pubes of the country’s whores, gigolos & unwholesome players.

    That’s where you’ll find it.
Strewn & thrown across the globe in the hands international lowlifes. (Including dictators, terrorists and questionable leaders and their minions)

    He had a yard sale.
That or he used it to negotiate sales and purchases for him.

WTF do ya think the Trump hotel in DC was for???
Uhhh, the one his company just sold?

Pathetic, that these fed staff are just figuring this out.
That and they didn’t stop him, swept it under the rug.

My opinion of NPD Trump has always been very low, even back when he was simply a self-proclaimed "business tycoon" spewing self-aggrandizing bullshit. With that said, I would've had a difficult time believing even NPD Trump would steal top secret government files. As the saying so aptly observes, "Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely." And NPD Trump saw being POTUS giving him absolute power.

Him taking documents just because he could and/or out of spite is one thing (for which he needs to answer).

If he has used top secret documents to made "deals" for money, power, favorable treatment, etc., he needs to be charged with treason.

The other major part of the article is:
Will NPD Trump get away with claiming his denials of raping her were done as part of his duties as POTUS?

That claim sounds absurd to any reasonable person, but we've seen how the Trumpites in our judicial system protect him.

Whistleblower Trump Media executive says firm violated federal securities laws | Donald Trump | The Guardian

^^ Possible paywall, & no paywall.

More trouble for another troubled NPD Trump vanity project (he thinks he alone can carry Truth Social?).

    Some of the other troubles:

The Walls Are Closing in On Trump's TRUTH Social

Investing in NPD Trump ventures is like investing in a restaurant. It's possible it'll turn out well, but it's extremely improbable.

One thing is NPD Trump has a magical (in the slight of hand sense) way of not risking his own money, or not much of it.

    Mentioning his money...

Special master Dearie unhappy with Mar-a-Lago document progress: 'Where's the beef? I need some beef' | CNN Politics

The DOJ is moving slowly & deliberately.

Eileen Cannon added an unnecessary layer of bureaucracy, namely the Special Master, in an effort to help NPD Trump.

Team NPD Trump is using delaying tactics. I seriously doubt that his attorneys have a clear idea of exactly what they're dealing with (other than a grown man who acts like a petulant child and lies).

Small wonder that Dearie is getting frustrated.

To make matter worse the fate of Dearie's recommendations will be in the hands of......Trumpite Eileen Cannon.

Oh hell no! Don't give a cornered rat an escape opening.

EXCLUSIVE: Trump considers allowing federal investigators to search Mar-a-Lago again

NPD Trump is (suddenly) considering playing nice with the DOJ? He's ready to move on from the documents controversy? If so, only because it benefits him. Does he think he's returning overdue library books?

Maybe the DOJ should let NPD Trump think cooperating means they're going to say Thanks, no harm done, you're free to go. As long as they're actually going to treat him the same as they would any suspected criminal.

Trump isn't going to jail. And that's good news for Democrats | Bruce Ledewitz - Pennsylvania Capital-Star

IMO Bruce Ledewitz comes across more as a Trumpite Apologizer than a defender, but he makes a good point that no serious hard evidence has been presented that could send Trump to prison.

That's debatable. I'm in the group that would like to see a smoking gun or three presented.

Another writer questioned do any of the investigators & prosecutors have the appetite to pursue actual prison time for NPD Trump. Maybe Leticia James in NY, but it appears any convictions would involve fines & sanctions.

NPD Trump's base is relatively small, but very vocal, & clearly willing to resort to violence. This makes the prosectors take an even more cautious approach (going after an Ex POTUS was already challenging). The best part might be NPD Trump is prevented from running for Pres again. The bad part is the war of attrition favors NPD Trump.

The win for the USA would be he isn't allowed to run.

The compromise win for NPD Trump would be plea bargains and slaps on the wrist.

It's possible some sanctions could be financially painful. We should consider the damage done to his ego.

I'd prefer the damage done to NPD Trump serving in prison.

The Trump Tapes: 20 interviews that show why he is an unparalleled danger
    By Bob Woodward
    Associate editor - Oct. 23 at 2:00 p.m.

Unfortunately, there's no way I can translate this into text, much of it is audio.
And profound to hear...the ignorance, the arrogance, the audacity and the stupidity.
Hopefully WaPo let's most y'all in w/o pay, for those w/o subscriptions.

Bob Woodward is trying to warn us...
    IMHO, too little, too late.

That's the problem...the media has given WAY too much benefit of the doubt.
And the opposition has acted WAY too slow and did NOT do enough.

They just don't get it...the man is NOT going to stop.
It's his sickness...he WILL push all the way, ALL about him...consequences be damned.

Even now, Congress and the DOJ are NOT acting fast or hard enough.
Going slow, the GOP delaying for him, him pushing and delaying...he is not arrested.
And the election will happen, in a couple of weeks...MANY Americans ignorant and not paying attention, voting his allies in the GOP in, to a likely majority in the House.
And AGAIN they will use every rule and method to HELP this megalomaniac.
    They ARE under his sway.

And America is in danger, of having this neglectful egomaniac, in control again. (you HEAR it)
    Too little, too late
A slow creep of fungus growing...taking over the government.

A Million dead citizens as proof (likely thousands more)
Millions of citizens hospitalized...many impacted for LIFE.
TRILLIONS wasted on incompetence, corruption and give-aways to companies that did NOT need it. (NOT stopping the virus nor helping biz)

And yet, many want him in again...insanely so, ignorantly so.
Just to get some life and world THEY want...consequences be damned.

    HEAR it, SEE it
It's there right in front of your nose...

^ The audio (teaser bits) started, crapped out, then the PayWall came up.

Two thoughts (out of many) that scare & disgust me.

    1. If NPD Trump had handled covid properly,
    more likely pretended to,
he would've been reelected in 2020.

    2. The GOP backing him for the sake of political power,
rather than dumping him, & any Repubs who stood by him.

I'd like to hear the tapes. It might help firmly answer my question:
Does NPD Trump truly believe that he is a Gawd & everything revolves around him, or is he knowingly playing everyone?

I agree that he people with evidence of his true nature should've spoken up a long time ago. The worse part is I'm not sure it would've helped.

Trump Organization's criminal tax fraud trial begins

Why T himself or his kids are NOT charged, I have no idea.
The brinkmanship that justice prosecutors do to decide what to bring to court is ridiculous.

Yes, this should be done...but it's too little, too late.

Trump's gifts from foreign leaders under scrutiny from House Oversight committee

So even though, this is yet ANOTHER probe, I thought it deserved to be separate from "The Probe" thread.
Because it really about T being selfish and a scammer.
And not one of the MANY things he's done for years to be prez, stay prez and corrupt the presidency and administration.

He's a grifter. An unlimited ego.
He himself has said about having things literally, "It's MINE!!!"
Like he's a spoiled toddler.

So finding out he took gift is SO obvious and expected it's almost a moot point.
    I mean, DUUUUHHH!!!

    Is water wet???

    Hint to Feds:
    1. get the shit back
    2. prosecute him!!!

    KISS
    Idiots!

The Roman Empire collapsed faster than these SOBs can move on justice. :p
Hey guys...the barbarians are at the gate!!!

The King SHOULD be given gifts.

The King should NEVER be questioned.

When I was an office manager I gave the people in the office first shot at any freebie we got from vendors, clients, etc. I worked for an office manager who would immediately claim any freebie she liked (her nickname was Psycho Bitch, I also referred to her as "our fearful leader.").

‘People are gonna think you're stupid’: Trump warned Pence not to ‘wimp out’ before Jan. 6, Pence writes

Mr. Pence, FYI, most of us already thought you were stupid beforehand. (IMHO)
However, thank you SO much for ignoring T (stands for Tyranny )
You have helped saved the US.

Just remember (if you can) idiocy doesn't mean you need to act like an idiot. (* especially an unethical one, who could have assisted his scum of a boss to take over the country )
You did right by us and by US. :)

And you will go down in history as being on the right side of the law.

Now, STOP fucking covering for the dick and help bring him down and in jail!!! (HINT: he tried to have you KILLED!)
    Just sayin'...

Some news flies under the radar during elections.

Trump cannot delay watchdog for his company, court rules

NPD Trump lost his bid to remove the independent monitor who will keep an eye on his business interests during his NY fraud case. Trump Organization II LLC, a new company started by Trump in response to the lawsuit (the same day the lawsuit was filed, IIRC), will also be scrutinized.

This puzzles me. Did NPD Trump actually wait that long to make an attempt to move & hide assets (anyone saying that intention was never proven has their lips locked on NPD Trumps anus)? Or was this more smoke & mirrors used to divert attention from previous asset movement?

Steven Colbert put together a collage of video clips where Mike Pence looks very lovingly at NPD Trump. I couldn't find a clip to link to.

Pence quite literally looks like a young Plain Jane girl who is madly in love with the star jock who asked her to the senior prom. Pence appears totally & undoubtedly star struck in love with NPD Trump.

I think Pence is still in love with NPD Trump. I would not be a bit surprised if a flattering call, or even better a visit, from NPD Trump would get Pence back where he was six years ago.
