    Until I get the drawing to Dmitri of ImageFoundry for scanning, here is my current presentation of "A Summer Day" 18" x 24" pencil Tree Dancers :)

    I originally planned to do a 3-fer, but will stop at 2 for now. This image has the same caveat as the first one. Namely I am showing a photo of the work and will update when I get a decent image from my Image Specialist.
    This drawing developed from thinking we are all someones child. Playdates may evolve and change as time passes. But in the end we are all here together, living and sharing our lives.

    Holy crap! These last two are amazing!! How long did it take you to draw them?

    At the risk of being a prick, IMO the drawings would be more intriguing if the nude women weren't so obvoius.

    Thanks @Snoogans . Not sure how long these take really. I often erase and redraw, which doesn't help any estimates either.

    I hear you @Chris Noyb . My Lady says these ones look like hairy women to her. I try different looks and methods and end up with a variety of results. I'm lucky that I often find someone who likes what I'm doing though :)

    "Depths" 14" x 17" assorted pencils
    This theme has been handled already in work I've done in the past, but I wanted to explore it in greater "depth" so to speak.
    I spent a lot of time working on tonal range, texture variation, motion within the piece, interplay between positive and negative - so much so that I limited the actual subject elements to just the 3 major ones.
    The downside to working on a piece for so long is that it seems to become a mass of clumsy scratches and smudges. Eventually I begin to worry that all I am accomplishing is spending time without actually achieving results. That is a sign that I really need to call it done.
    (I'll edit this post in a few weeks when my image technician has a quality scan ready for me)

    Here is a low resolution version of "Depths" from my tech guy that I just picked up today. I like his work. This one is getting professionally framed and put under museum glass. I look forward to seeing it all pretty and such :)

    I felt like posting some work. This is a blog post from my website;

    I was posting a couple of my doodles in a forum where the person wanted to see doodles with character that you might be able to tell a story about. I thought that was a fun idea, and decided to post some of my doodles here as well. Some may have more character than others. Some are Wait Doodles, which are a bit different than my Wait Sketches. It is all in fun.

    @kramus it would be so fun to hang out. I love your work and enjoy being in the presence of other creative minds.

    I'm inspired to go create something - right now.

    A lynx! It's harder to picture the woman in this one, which is nice because it more readily offers two ways to look at it. You seem very skilled at drawing wildlife including fish and bears!
