Top 5 Dream Dates

I chose fictional characters and inspiring individuals. To me, celebrity status is irrelevant, and a dream date needn't involve romantic interest.

 

I'd like to add Carol Channing. That woman was/is some kind of kooky.
She must have been a trip in her heyday.

 

I was going to contribute to this thread, and then I read SF's post, and realized that nothing I wrote could in any way compare to that. And now I just kind of feel bad for taking the five or so minutes I took to think of some people.

Had to think about this for a second..... Is the purpose of the date to engage in meaningful conversation? or sleep with them? Hopefully one would lead to another. But most celebrities are self absorbed airheads so the doesn't appeal much to me.
So my top five would be:
1) Pat- we ate lunch together nearly everyday in high school,would love to go out with her.We were to good of friends at the time
2) Kathy- First date ever, parents drove us to a Jimi Hendrix concert in 1968, would love a 2nd chance
3) Sharon- worked for me years ago at First Union Nat'l Bank. Smart, attractive and unavailable at the time
4) Karen- Trivia partner, smart, attractive and seems to like me
5) Ruth- Ex-wife of old friend. had a fling 15 yrs ago, would love to restart....

So my dream date is someone I can see smell touch interact/communicate with.

And if that didn't work> Sandra Bullock, Zooey Deschanel, Radha Mitchel,Milla Jovovich and Amy Madigan....

I'd have liked to have gone to that concert with Elena. Friend from school ... we got on better with each other than we did with the people we went out with. Last few years I've got into reckoning that maybe, at our young age, that was our way of preserving the relationship we had, given that we'd have been guarenteed to screw up 'young romance'. AND she'd have totally appreciated Jimi Hendrix. Heck. thank you for a very pleasent New Year's Jolt

... And with less intense feelings: Definitely like 30 minute coffee and chat with Amanda Tapping. Basically to express appreciatation for her many years as one of my valued household names [Carter & Magnus]. 50 Minute coffee / man-date with Kevin Sorbo to work out with him what the feck is happening to his career. Okokokok ... I DID have a good laugh with "Meet the Spartans" and "Poolboy" BUT enough is enough, and he's more than that, so c'mon. That's a definite date I want to have ... an upside the head talkin'-to date.

 

Yeah, #2 (Kathy), her father was my scout master and I knew he hated me. Kathy and I met again at our 40th high school reunion. We exchanged numbers and maybeeeeee......

 

Well, dodger01 , I'm a sucker for dreams coming true. How recent was the 40th high school reunion ... is there a window of opportunity you'd do well to jump through soon? I mean, imo, first date ever = epic. Reunion ... er even MORE epic.

 

It was in September. She is moving back to this area in the spring. We have been emailing and things since then. Could work out...

OK, this one has taken me months to ponder over, but I think I've got it. Some are for pure hotness/lust for redheads, but I also have a love affair with some due to their alpha female personalities.

1) Christina Hendricks, one of the leading females in Mad Men, and my "who do I have to murder to be with this woman" date.



2) Mary Elizabeth Winstead - Indie movie nerd, looks hot whether you stick her in Scott Pilgrim attire or in a red carpet gown.



3) Katy Perry - Hot. Pin-up. Boobs.



4) Dayna Deluxe - My all-time favorite pin-up girl, and 5' tall redhead.



5) This one shuffles around quite a bit, but right now, it's Mad Men's own Mrs. Draper, January Jones.

 

I'm assuming our dates would be "in their prime", whether intellectually, physically, or artistically... so:

1 Grace Kelly - DAMN that woman was hot!!
2 Carly Simon - I want to know who's really that vain
3 Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis - with modern hair, for intellectual reasons
4 Cher - how can anyone be that hot for that many years, and still be that good an entertainer?
5 Racquel Welch - have you seen that woman at 70??

Of course my personal dream date will never happen since I'm permanently married, but dreams don't die, and they're fun regardless.

3)Kelly Stables- Mellissa (Alan's Receptionist) on Two and a Half Men

5)Jane Fonda- Just to let her know how awful of a person i believe her to be... it would not be delicate or enjoyable...
