Our rescues on the lookout for killer squirrels.

 

I never allow my dogs on the furniture.

Apparently, the wife takes care of that. I was only gone 3-4 min to run to the bathroom and that isn't where I left the pillow.

 

This is Lucy. She's a Singapore special (mutt!). We picked her up from the SPCA where she'd spent almost all of her 1.5 years. She's okay.

He is almost the cutest little one, we adopted a Silky Terrier a year ago, (7 year old male) he was just so cute at Animal Rescue that we couldn't resist.
Little did we know about terriers (always had German Shepherds)...they are obstinate, willfull and a general hand full....but he has not bitten either of us (on purpose) in months....so I guess he is getting used to us.....We call him the Little Rat Bastard. (affectionately)

 

Back in November I lost one of my guinea pigs after a six week battle with an illness. The flip side is that I managed to rescue another cavy from a shelter.

Given his penchant for appearing with wide open eyes and his mouth hanging open, I daresay he's one of my Photoshop creations come to life!

 

Cute, and he doesn't have to be WALKED.

I remember a cartoon, I think it was a Gary Larson Far Side. I'm going by memory, so I'll give "my" short version.

The first panel is titled What You Say To Your Dog.
"No, I'm not going to give you dog food now. I'll give you food later after I take you for a walk."

The second panel is titled What Your Dog Hears.
"Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah dog food blah. Blah give you food blah blah blah blah blah blah a walk."

 

My dog knows (recognizes) about 20 words, ride, car, hungry, park, cookie, treat, dinner, BUT as a Silkie Terrier....he will not be commanded, everything is at HIS pace, when He wants to....obstinate little prick that he is...but we love the little rat f**k

 

Our old cat--exact age unkown, we took her in as a stray--eats Original Crunchy Cheetos. I mean actually eats them, doesn't just lick off the cheese-flavored powder.

 

I lost my replacement guinea pig last July, and rescued another one from a shelter- his name is Murphy.

 

Yes, sometimes other regular shelters have them. On occasion a pet store chain will have them too. I'm just doing my part.

This is Ms. BELLA a Biewar terrier.....unlike Mr Barkley (avatar) she doesn't bite or snarl at us
Mr Barkley was a handful, with his attitude, but we loved him ER visits, stitches and all....we still miss the Little Rat Bastard.
But, Bella has made it easier for us.....

 

On my phone Bella looks like a stuffed toy.

 

The absolute cutest dog ever...everyone wants to pick her up.....and she LETS them, Mr. Barkley would eat your hand if you tried...(loved him anyway)
