My last few partners have been pretty vanilla, to be honest. I like things a bit rougher, with just a touch of S&M. They haven't been into that.

 

I think it requires patience to bring a non-interested partner around to experimentation. Sometimes the lack of interest is due to lack of experience with it or a moral reluctance to engage in what they have always regarded as taboo. I don't think I've ever had a partner I truly believed I could not eventually convince to at least try something new. Maybe starting off with the mildest aspects of it (tie up and tease) can lead to more interest in experimenting further. But I think the key is time and patience with a dose of trust and intimacy thrown in.

 

Meh, I'm cool with the aggressive stuff... but when you want me to do things that'll show up on you at work?

I had one with daddy issues in the opposite direction, daddy directed her life, and when she found that I was vanilla, and chill with her dad, she dropped me for having parental dysfunction as well, but mine I stand up to, when I have to, for myself.
