You would think the lifestyle choices the adults make would be detrimental to the children wouldnt you? Who in their right mind would want to fill the heads of little children with such hate.

I'm sure 9 out of 10 psychiatrists agree that they're psychologically impaired but crazy is not a crime. If it was, half the population would be serving time. Daddy has brainwashed all of his 13 children and has started on another generation. I think 2 or 3 of his children have managed to escape but the rest are in deep. If it somehow came to the point where they were forced into treatment, getting them to deny a way of thinking which is wholly "normal" for them would be a very tough nut to crack.

You cant send them to Saudi Strange Famous, they are Christians, and should be dropped off in Bethlehem. They can set up signs near Rachel's Tomb to entertain the Jewish tourists. Palestinians could, in an example of an extreme biological attack, parachute them over Tel Aviv or a neighboring place. Better still, install them in the West Bank - no one will want to invade. Neither Arab nor Jew would want the Phelps clam as neighbors would they?

Would anyone care if action was taken to shut these Westborough people up? How many families have to put up with them dancing on the graves of their dead children before you just say "they deserved it" and let it go?

They have forfitted their rights under the law through actions which are directly hostile to the general opinion of the people. Now the law can't work that way... because the law is supposed to be the law however much of a shit you are... but the people who enforce the law are moral human beings, who for good or for bad will act in human ways.

 

They cancelled? WTF!?! They're on a mission from God. How could they possible be harmed? Maybe their faith in their beliefs are not that strong. I mean surely God wouldn't let harm come their way while doing his work, right?

The Westborough people are just Real Life Trolls. The only way to deal with this, is don't pay any attention to them. Like all trolls on the internet, they feed of reactions. The more we react to them, the more they will keep posting/showingup/ect. It comes down to one piece of advice.

Don't feed the trolls.

I wish there was a magical button to get rid of RL trolls like there is on the internet (most places tho, some epic level trolls can troll within the bounds of the rules of the website), but there isn't.

Don't talk about them, don't try to fight them, just ignore them. Hopefully they will go away when they realize no one gives a fuck about them.

Great video (except for it being a fan video *shakycam*) from Kevin Smith talking about his experience with dealing with being protested by these folks. His movie "Red State" was (fictionally) based on the church. He has a great bit about his gay friend holding up a "Dick tastes good" sign during a counter protest.

 

I have to agree with the others here. It's a very slippery slope when we decree that others must think and behave the way the general opinion of the people says we must. I do agree that what they are doing is despicable and shows a complete lack of Christian understanding and even a bigger lack of understanding the bible they claim to hold so dear. And I do think that there is a general behavior that is acceptable to a civilized society and that we own it to our fellow man to try and stay within those lines. But to do away with anyone just because they are labeled undesirable and they don't follow societies rules, borders on tyrannical.

I think Lordenden's plan is the best way to deal with them. Just blow them off, they aren't worth it.
