Not soon enough! Ugh, I hate waiting. At least they've spotted that car again.

Carol has good instincts. I'm glad she and the master tracker are on this case together.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Governor take out a strong rival and dispose of the weak leader that replaced him. His efficient ruthlessness makes him my favourite long term character so far'; I think my top choice would be the first zombie little girl that Rick encounters in the Pilot looking for fuel for his patrol car. Watching him thin the crowd at the prison should be a delight as well.

Scriptures posted on the wall of Pastor Gabriel's church:
    ROM 6:4
    EZE 37:7
    MA 27:52
    RE 9:6
    LU 24:5

We paused it for a while (littlegirly bedtime tantrum and other such distractions) so I jotted them down. All about dead rising and such. Though one was really neat, about men seeking death and death eludes them.

  10. I can't handle Gabriel. How has such a wuss survived for so long. I know he has plenty of food, but you'd think he'd run into something along the way.

Yeah, he's a pretty weak character so far. He's really going to bring down the group if Rick's group can't get him to kill walkers.

I don't see how someone could survive that long if they are not willing to take out walkers.

Unless he's allied with some creepy jerks. We still don't know about the freaks in the black sedan with the cross who have/had Beth.

I'm avoiding reading most of this thread since I'm just starting to watch TWD.

My wife is still bitching about me watching it:
"Do they really need to show two episodes in a row?" "They have some catching up to, it's been on for a few years."
"This is a gross thing to watch while we're eating dinner." "Like the some of the scenes in CSI aren't gross?"
"This is going to give me nightmares." "How old are you? This is fiction, it's just a TV program."
"Can't you watch this on the internet?" "They might show episodes on the website, or at least highlights. When are you going to start watching 'your' programs, the ones that I don't like, on the internet?"

I still have no clue who the red headed gent with the nice moustache is or what this Terminus is (seen pictures/mentioned from the facebook TWD feed) but "black sedan" sounds intriguing. Something about Washington D.C. sounds very interesting as well.

I got as far the far in the graphic novels as the main group getting kicked out of the prison by the former inmates, still don't know how that governor compares to the TV one. All of this stuff is new to me, no matter how close it is to the source.

I do want to buy more of those and get further. I prefer how the inmates boot them out forcibly, and want to see how they meet the Governor, how his settlement looks there, and what happens in the original universe compared to the parallel world shown on TV.
Reminds me of the heavily cut 1985 version of The Stand Stephen King was forced to do compared to the full 1,500 page version from 1990. Very similar but there are some differences.
