Today AMC unveiled the official poster for the second half of The Walking Dead Season 4. The artwork features Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) and Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) walking down a railroad track with the tagline, “Don’t Look Back” — recalling what Rick told his son after fleeing the prison in the Mid-Season Finale.

Of all the The Walking Dead’s First Three Episodes in Black & White photos, I find this one (above) most evocative of the spirit of the television series, specifically that no one is safe.
Everyone in this (well-populated, given the size of the group) photo is dead or missing. And only one, Carol, is missing.

 

I can't wait.....

 

I should be excited about birthing my baby in 3 weeks or so....but February 9th is calling my name.

I kind of want to exploit mine and DaddySquirrel's interracial relationship and have Glen/Maggie birth announcements complete with a USPS tote labeled "Lil Ass Kicker" for BabySquirrel.

 

Might break down and watch the first episode of series 4 via itunes. Don't feel like waiting for the whole thing to hit finish the tv run and then hit netflix.

As the survivors of the prison assault try to regroup, Rick and Carl stumble upon a vacant house in the forest. Meanwhile, Daryl and Beth realize they are being watched by someone, and a new threat begins to emerge. (CR: AMC)

The new video does contain spoilers and food for speculation: Here are a couple I see: First, Glenn is on the ground, head bloodied (but alive) and it makes me wonder if the bus has had an accident. More intriguing, are the quick cuts of Glenn dressed in riot gear, fending off a pack of prison walkers all by himself. Another scene shows him with Tara Chambler, fleeing the prison grounds, rescuing her. It’s possible then, that Tara’s sister Lilly might be part of the surviving group that Glenn is with. Rick is in bad shape from the near-deadly beating that The Governor put down on him before Michonne put her katana sword through the Governor. (more)​

Part me thinks I would squeal like a little girl. The other part of me thinks I'd get sued for stomping on a few hands.

Tonight's episode of The Walking Dead was named, aptly, “After,” as it picks up in the immediate aftermath of the destruction of the prison. The only former prison-dweller we see who remains alive is Michonne. Besides her, we see the horrific sight of Hershel’s zombified head, jaws snapping away, as well as the torn-up body of The Governor who was head-shot by former gf Lilly, before he died. This is what Michonne had to do to put Hershel out of his zombie existence:

 

I was kinda disappointed in last weeks episode.

 

DaddySquirrel and I finally watched it.

I was a little disappointed too. :-/ Maybe because it was Carl heavy and he was so whiney.

 

Fucking Carl.

 

Yeah. Carl got on my nerves

 

I thought about you the whooooole episode.

 

I hate that kid. I kinda hoped Rick would die and eat him. Then I realized I didn't want Rick to be dead.

 

It was upsetting that he survived all those attacks. They could have all been avoided had he not been so damn stupid.

I was hoping he'd get a really bad tummy ache from eating all that pudding.

Wow. I've lost my edge since becoming a mom.
