The Walking Dead Episode 3.02 "Sick': 'After a traumatic event, a life hangs in the balance. Complicating matters, the group must also deal with a potential threat to their new surroundings.'

Based on this vague description and others I've seen plus having read the comics, 'someone' gets walker (zombie)-bitten on a limb and Rick's idea is to do an immediate amputation....ooh, should be gruesome! And...will it work?

It cracks me up every time I see DirecTv's advertisement saying Dish subscribers won't be able to watch The Walking Dead.
It's just a so in-your-face-with-a-dick move.

 

From the beard on Hershel, it seems a few months have passed since season 2.

Watching season 2 on Netflix. The same thing will happen with season 1. I'll watch it all in 2-3 days and will have to wait FOREVER until the next season is on Netflix. Then when that happens, I will have forgotten a bunch of things.

Yup. Since I was home sick yesterday I watched ALL of Season 2. I think I can order Season 3 via iTunes and watch it as it goes....I might end up doing that because I'm totally digging this show.

 

It is addictive

 

I also really want to read the Graphic Novels now. I've never read a Graphic Novel before.....you tfp people have turned me into a nerd!

 

I was going to say I got attached to so-and-so in the show, but I guess I wasn't THAT attached, since I can't remember his name.

I was attached to seeing Shane shirtless.....but that was it really. He kind of sucked.....unless he wasn't wearing a shirt.

Has anybody tried The Walking Dead game on FaceBook?
I tried it and it wouldn't load large portions for me.
I guess my computer and/or connection isn't good enough, plus it was early on in the release. Maybe they'll fix the lag issues.

Don't stop Fangirl

 

I have finished watching Season 2 and I have to admit, I just don't get it. I understand that it's the first zombie series and that's new and exciting, but the characterizations are weak and overly sentimental. It leaves me not liking any of the characters very much, let alone getting attached to any of them. If the graphic novels are darker, then I kind of wish they had gone with the original tenor of the stories. What they have now seems like a soap opera with zombies and try as hard as I can (and I do) I'm just not buying it. It's disappointing.
