Say, I wonder if Taft had a game named after him.

He doesn't need one. Sadly, the latter part of the 20th century belongs to Howard Taft.

I've been lifting so regularly that my husband has decided we have to join a gym so I can have access to a barbell and bench. I haven't lost any weight but I have lost 2% of body fat.

My husband sure likes checking my guns out every night. It's like his new favorite thing. You can't really tell there's muscle there yet, but that will come in time. I know it's there.

My girlfriend's arms are only slightly smaller than mine. Unless he starts now, you'll get bigger than him.

    Which would be awesome.

  8. I have muscle. I actually have a pretty good amount of it.
It's un-conditioned, and it's covered with (rather large in some places) flabs of fat.
My current goal is to bring these muscles to light and make them usable for longer than 5-minute sprints at a time.
I also want to whip my cardiovascular system into shape. I'm sick of riding my bike for a mile and being completely tired out.

    It's definitely a possibility.

Progress pics. Do your arms and back. Back muscles show up quickly.

Eventually there will be pics to share. I'll have to get my husband to help.

I hadn't weighed myself since Thursday. We had a dissolute weekend at the beach involving beers, gin and lemonades, and doughnut muffins. My expectations were low. This morning, my weight was unchanged from Thursday but I had lost another point in body fat. w00t. That makes 3 since I started lifting!

It fired me up to do another workout. I'm considering doing daily doubles of the routine I've got going now. One thing that has really helped me is using a Google Calendar to track my workouts. Since they're all in there, and my phone reminds me to do them, I feel like I can't skip. Plus, lifting weights isn't really all that time-consuming.

This is me joining the TFP health club. I'm not about 40 pounds heavier than I want to be, and I've committed to fixing it. Looking forward to sharing my progress with everyone.

I don't have any at home, unforch.

I looked into getting some not long before I joined Muay Thai, where there are plenty. We don't use them enough though. :)

  17. Update: this shit works, at least for me. If you are the least bit goal orented, I would think it will work for you. I am tracking everything I eat and drink through the iPhone app, as well as all activity, even watching TV. I have set a goal for weight loss by a certain date and now am ahead of schedule. Looking at my trends since I've gotten this a few things are very obvious; on days when I don't do an hour of cardio I am not active enough and also I don't sleep for shit. I ordered the Aria scale. Now only does it weigh me but it measures fat% and BMI. It's probably not exact but as long as it is consistent I can determine if I'm headed in the right direction. And I am. I've already lost 2 lbs. The scale sends my weight, etc. to the clouds via wifi. How fucking cool is that? My shit is in the cloud!

Just had a great yoga session. I'm trying to get back into practice. I'm so stiff if I don't do yoga, and it gives me swayback.

    Cayvmann Very Tilted

My knee has been outstanding this last week at the beach. I'm ready to join a good gym now. Unfortunately there are damned few of those left. Everything's a "fitness" joint, no real iron dungeons left. What's a Cayvmann to do?
