What is this 'Confederate Flag' you speak of? I just know it is a bad thing that should be banished from public or private and it caused racism, at least half of the problems we have now, probably a hurricane or two, and likely wiped out the American Indians as well. I am fairly certain that both Columbus and the Mayflower were flying it from the mast when they arrived to wipe out the locals on these shore.

The flag hasn't been outlawed or banished. It has just been removed from government property. One is free to parade about with their flags held high.

On a serious note I fully agree with the decision to remove the Virginia battle flag from government property in South Carolina or anywhere else. My smartass comment was referring more to idiocy like calling the General Lee or the entire Dukes of Hazzard show offensive, racist, or whatever else along those lines. The only thing offensive is the sheer stupidity of people crying over a tv show that never showed one trace of racism and a bounty of good examples from the start.
