    Okay, so I harvested the 2 GB of RAM from my destroyed MacBook to boost the iMac to 2 GB, thus making it technically more powerful than my MacBook (faster chip). This is pretty exciting because the native display is also 50% bigger.

    However, now the DVI cable for my second display has conked out completely. I'm back to a single display.

    It's like I can't win. :(
