    I realize flat panel tv's usually go on walls, but sometimes they don't, and there should be a jack, damnit!

    Oh man.

    The Microsoft Office version on the backup computer I'm using? Support for it ended more than six years ago. Let's put it this way: The software is licensed to a person who left the company before I got there in 2004. I can't use this shit.

    I'll have to borrow my SO's MacBook for word processing until I get my newer version to work on this machine or until I get a replacement.

    GRRRR. There was an inconsistency between the assignment sheet the students were supposed to look at to do this one part of the project, and what my mentor actually wanted. My kids were whining about it, and I had to frankly tell them, "It's not my sheet." If you want capitalization on certain parts of a certain phrase, make sure those caps are reflected on the assignment sheet where you have the example. DUH.

    When I say "it absolutely has to be quoted today; they are closing tomorrow," I expect that we'll have a quote today so that they can close tomorrow, not that the person who's receiving the message is going to leave early without telling anyone.
