I replaced the agitator on our Maytag years ago. IIRC the machine was out of warranty, but was still very new. The inside looked like a seal leaked and over time water had corroded the gears.

Seriously? $13.64 for a plastic laundry basket? At Wal-Mart.

OK, it's one of the larger ones, the measurent reads 2.7L/95BU (WTH is a BU?). If the price tag on the shelf had been correct, I would've spent a few dollars extra on a larger more heavy duty storage tub, that should last at least twice as long.

Lesson learned: Check the price at one of the stations, or chase down a Wally employee and force them to check the price.

Is there anywhere I can go to deliver a really strong throat punch to Vladimir Pootin, followed by a quick knee to the face when he bends over? I just want 5 mins alone with him...

On that note, it has come to my attention that the russian government is so deep in the denial that they are going to collectively drown. I love the twitter spat that has developed between them and us. Russophobic? No. Russodisgust? Yes.

Russia and Canada in Twitter spat over 'kindergarten-level' UN letter post

Russia accused Canada on Thursday of childishly annotating a letter it sent at the United Nations seeking support for its draft resolution on providing aid access and civilian protection in Ukraine, which Ottawa reacted to with pointed comments.

In a spat on Twitter, Canada's UN mission added multiple remarks to the March 16 missive from Russia's UN ambassador, Vassily Nebenzia.

The UN Security Council will no longer vote on Friday on the draft resolution.

Diplomats said it would have failed with most of the 15-member council likely to abstain from a vote on it because it did not address accountability or acknowledge Russia's invasion of Ukraine or push for an end to the fighting or a withdrawal of Russian troops. Read full story

In the spat on Twitter, Canada's UN mission annotated one part of the Russian letter that read: "Like other members of the international community, we are gravely concerned about its deterioration."

Canada's UN mission crossed out the first few words and changed the rest to read: "We are not gravely concerned about its deterioration," and inserted at the end "because we are the primary cause."

In a later section, Canada asked: "Do you think the UN membership actually believes this?" On the final page Canada suggested part of an alternative end: "We want you to know just how little we care about the human life we have destroyed."

Dmitry Polyanskiy, first deputy permanent representative of Russia to the United Nations, hit back on Thursday:

"Thank you @CanadaONU for this kindergarten-level Russophobic libel!" he wrote on Twitter.

"It only shows that your diplomatic skills and good manners are at lowest ebb and gives an idea why your country’s bid for a non-permanent seat in #SecurityCouncil was voted down twice in 20yrs by UN membership," Polyanskiy said, adding a thumbs-down emoji.

Relations between Russia and several Western nations continue to plummet to new lows since the Kremlin launched its invasion of Ukraine.

Russian President Vladimir Putin says he is engaged in a "special military operation."

I know inflation is real, but.......

The buffet at Hartz Chicken was
$8.99 each or $7.99 each for two.
    Now it's $13.69, seniors $12.89.
$28.77 (we pay sales tax, no state
income tax) for my wife & me.

And the Valu Dollar near us is
    $1.79 each for nearly everything.

It ain't easy being cheap :p.

    AT&T customer service sucks.

When they switched me from DSL to fiber optic they neglected to actually cancel the DSL (the billing for DSL stopped), which meant my email account was eventually suspended (don't ask me, I'm still confused).

One employee took forever to figure out they didn't know what the problem was, then transferred me to someone else who had me try everything I had already tried, then took forever to figure out they didn’t know (you get the idea).

Someone finally figured out the problem, but had to transfer me to someone who could actually solve the problem.

I spent 3.5 hours of being on the phone over two days. I spoke to six different people, two in the US, four in India (two spoke reasonably good English), the two second delay on the line didn't help.

The AT&T website gave absolutely no indication that there anything wrong with my account. Their software kept trying to send me an access code to get into my email...to my email. One alternative communication required a mobile device...issued by AT&T. Another attempt kept taking me a service that "is not currently available, try again later." Of course it never was.

    AT&T customer service sucks.

Edit: I bet if my problem was paying my bill the issue would've been resolved in 15 minutes.
