Every day, same time. Dizzy and energy slump. Thankfully I got stuff done before. I hate being sick.

Okay, Tuesday. WTF did I do to you?! The 3-ton garage door broke and won't be fixed until later tonight. Had to Uber to work, 45m away. Crossing fingers I can get one home late tonight. I Uber-pooled and we ended up getting some crazy lady with a little kid and no car seat wanting a ride. Driver 86ed it because of the hazard. I'm late for a meeting that starts in 10m and during which, I'm supposed to present. I'd have totally given up if I didn't have four clients today.

Me too, maybe plenty to complain about but since it's expected there's no point.

Dropped my bike on an icy patch (who am I kidding all of Anchorage is an icy patch right now) and I'm still hurting.
I used to be able to shake this kind of stuff off and keep on going but it's getting a whole lot harder.
Half my body is stiff and sore.
The bruise where the pedal hit my leg has some beautiful colors though.

Driving home to eat lunch after a meeting. Hit something metal on the road. Dense, like a small electric motor. Thought I might be able to clear it, but nope, my lowered acura integra found it. It bounced all the way down my undercarriage. Thought maybe I was ok, but with a mile to go started smelling oil. Just made it home without the check oil light coming on, but now I have a puddle of at least a quart under my car where it's jacked up. I called looking for replacement pans, but my gsr is a lot less common than the lower performance gs, rs, and ls models. So no go on the junkyard. A new pan is 250 plus a gasket. Not interested in that for an 18 year old 180k mile car. But can't afford to replace it right now. So I'm going to jb weld that bitch tonight and see if that holds. The hole is about the size of the tip of my pinkie. Wish me luck.

So I wiped down the oil pan with paper towels and citrus degreaser. Oil kept seeping out the hole. So I hooked a shop vac up over the oil intake to create some negative pressure (held with tape). That worked too well, pulling the jb weld into the hole.so I mixed some more, let it stiffen for a minute, then shut off the vacuum and quickly applied it. I had to fill the gap by spreading it like cake icing over the gap. After about an hour I spread another layer over it. Now to do the hard part and leave it alone overnight. Then buy some oil and try it out tomorrow.

Ya, I still love skiing and I'm not gonna stop until I have to; but ... falling hurts a whole lot more than it used to and I hurt for a week afterwards.

Free flu shots at the pharmacy. I just walked in yesterday - and because all my info was on file, I didn't even need my health card. I think all the pharmacies around here are doing it, so no more lining up at flu shot clinics anymore!

Hey, wait! That wasn't a complaint. I want to make a complaint.

Refilled my car with oil, idled it for about 15 minutes. Then I drove it the 3 or so miles to work. Seems to be holding just fine. No leaks where it was patched. So hopefully I'm good to go for a while.
