The Complaining and Bitching Thread

I am struggling again today. Got out of the house. Hoping it helps.

 

Stanley and I are about to head out for a walk. You are welcome to come join us.

 

I was once routed through Detroit on a Chicago to Portland flight.

Then there were horrible electrical storms in Detroit so I sat there for like five hours instead of 90 mins.

I think they have a Schlafly's at Lambert. At least you can get decent beer.

 

I am now seeking a new au pair. I sincerely hope that I find someone who can read my mind like the last one. I am really bummed that this is even happening.

 

I was going there to attend the funeral of a little kid who died of cancer.

Now we are even for me making fun of your dumb head.






Today is not my day.

So at a little after 4am my wife wakes me up, frantic. 'Stanley's gone, he ran away!'

I'm like 'What? How does he run away? How would he even get outside?'

Apparently he woke her up (unusual for him, he usually doesn't get up until after 8am, lol) and she let him out to go the bathroom. We have a fenced in yard, but there were incredible wind storms last night and somehow the latch on the gate blew open. He was out there for 5-10 mins, she looked out, didn't see him, and saw the gate was wide open. He's never once tried to get out of the yard. He's never been one of those dogs to run off even when he is loose. I can take him anywhere off leash and he doesn't want to get more than 30-40' away even if he's exploring the woods or whatever.

So I get up, put some pants on, walk out in the front yard and look down the street. Can't see him anywhere. My wife goes one way down the street, I go the other. I look in our side yard (side the gate is on) thinking maybe he's wandering around there, don't see him. I walk towards our fence in the back to where the gate is open. He's standing at the back sliding glass door scratching to be let back inside. Probably never even left the backyard, she just didn't see him when she looked. *facepalm*

Then, I can't get back to sleep. When I do I have annoying dreams. When I get up I have a massive headache. Then my dc jack on my laptop goes out, so I'm out of a laptop until at least Friday when I can get the part in.

My wife feels pity on me, and before I have to leave for a short work trip takes me in the bedroom for a bj. Just as I'm 'finishing' I get the worst charlie horse ever so even that got wrecked.

Then I got to drive 240 miles in 30-40mph head winds, with even stronger gusts.

Cmon!

 

Glad I did something right.
