    Luckily, only the keyboard seems damaged, so that should be a fairly easy fix.

    So my husband has been feeling rundown. He went to call to make a doctor's appointment. Turns out he still has a balance with them from 1.5 years ago that his mother said she would pay, but apparently didn't (it was supposed to be a "gift".)

    I'm not sure how we've not gotten any correspondence about this, especially since they claim they turned it over to a collection agency. WTF.

    So now we're going to be out at least $200.

    I removed our disposal, over a year ago, no dangerous projectiles or drain problems since. After some time we don't miss it. We just manage our food and waste. Also no microwave, Same result.

    Can't do that in our condo, unfortunately. I plan to compost when we have a house but the dumpster and the trash transport, and lack of available recycling is so counterproductive to healthy living. So, we have a microwave, a disposal, a dishwasher, a rice cooker, a crockpot, a kitchen and mixer, convection toaster oven, an regular oven... And a spice grinder. And an awesome coffee maker we never use. I can't wait to move.

    I'd be happy to send you some snow. How many feet would you like?

    While I love heavy snowfall at the ski areas, I need to be able to get to them. Getting home is kinda nice, too. So far, so good; but I'm really happy my Tacoma got fixed, 4wd and studs are barely adequate.

    It depends on where you live. Out here, if a house is on septic, they are unlikely to have a garbage disposal.
