The Complaining and Bitching Thread

My god, some of my family members and friends from high school are total assholes. It makes me all rage-y, and then I'm just sad

 

Stay off of Facebook.

There are those who don't surprise me by the stupid stuff they say on FB. I just ignore them because they were always idiots. It's the ones who I thought were smarter than the shit they post.

 

Hey! Don't you two leave me on FB! Just hide the annoying/ignorant/openly stupid people.

 

Well, yes. On Facebook, I just unfriend them, or take them off my newsfeed. Like I said, it just makes me sad.

I was moreso thinking of the upcoming holidays, and how no, I can't really avoid some of these people without starting Major Family Drama.

 

Some of us have more than one....

 

I was given an undergraduate student to help on my project. I want to give her back. She hasn't been helping much.

 

In undergrad I had long hair. I miss it. It was a huge afro on some days, and down my back when laid down on others. I enjoyed women playing in my hair. Loved the different styles I was able to put it in.....did I mention the women who would like to play in it?

Now, I'm too deep into corporate to grow it back....maybe when I'm done with my PhD I will grow it back....or when I retire...who knows... good times though.

 

Headache. Cold front. Fuck.

 

I think I am getting sick....

 

Just got the dreaded P-word from one of my thesis committee members. Ffs I'm not saying the literature is wrong, I'm literally saying the exact opposite right there in that sentence. These people are goddamn tenured PhDs and yet they can't seem to make it through a single sentence, let alone more than one, without losing their train of thought and leaving commentary like "More than what?". More than the thing I JUST GOT DONE SAYING IN THE PREVIOUS SENTENCE.

And it's even worse when I'm trying to convey a more complex thought... god help me if I say something and then continue to explain it in the following paragraph. I get comments saying "Explain" or "Unclear"... well no shit, read the rest of the goddamn paragraph it's right there.

 

I've had to deal with my Mom being a completely bigoted tool on FB. I know I should probably ignore her, but I can't help myself.

Just like in a face to face conversation, I call her on her bullshit.

 

How fucking hard is it to talk to me and tell me what the damn problem is. Its called communication. You would think after 16 years of marriage it wouldn't be that damn hard, but no. Apparently communicating is harder than winning the lottery. Don't not talk to me and think it's ok, don't get mad when I won't stop asking you whats wrong. Getting mad is not the fucking answer. Get over what ever it is and talk to me. You told me that you wanted me to shut up, then that's what I will do. So when you text me tomorrow, don't worry, I won't answer you. If that's what you want. I thought it was going to be a nice vacation next week. Maybe I was wrong.
