The Complaining and Bitching Thread

Jadzia used to come home from those and demand drinks and funny movies.
She saw a lot of it in her classroom on a day to day basis, having to sit through classes that she probably could have taught was crazy making.

 

So Chicago is starting a "Cloud Tax". an extra 9% amusement tax on all streaming services. #SoThatHappened smh. We were already getting an amusement tax on everything else, movies, bowling league, etc. Now this. come on man.

 

Today started an extra .07 per gallon of gas. #awesome

 

at work with hardly anything to do what a sucky day........

 

Caught some nasty bug while traveling.

 

My insurance company finally processed my application. According to the letter I got today my coverage is valid until the second of July. They want another full quarter's payment by tomorrow or I get permanently kicked out of the program. Which means that I will have paid literally every single penny I've made since January for literally not one single day of insurance coverage, and if I don't pay them every single penny I will make through August and then some I'll promptly lose the insurance I never actually had and never be able to get it again.

Happy Fourth of July. I can't think of anything more American than this.

That sucks. For a single person without insurance and with a very serious illness it's cheaper--and much easier--to simply die.

 

Why do semi-trucks pass other semi-trucks going uphill on an Interstate? Out here in the west some of these hills are 5 miles long. Meanwhile 25 cars with pissed off drivers are creeping along much slower than the speed limit, waiting for the truck to pass. And it takes the truck about 15 minutes just to pass. Sheesh!!

 

On their website our local FOX TV station listed the Women's World Soccer Championship as being on channel 35, which is their sports channel on satellite/cable.

They neglected to mention the match was also being shown on their free broadcast channel.

Duh-mbshits.

 

While we're bitching about that... Hope Solo got to play in it instead of, yknow, being kicked off the team in disgrace.

 

I have no idea what Solo's story is, good or bad, but yes she played.

 

Carli Lloyd, who plays for the Houston Dash, won the Golden Ball as the tournament's outstanding player. She scored three of the five US goals in the championship.
