The Complaining and Bitching Thread

Sometimes good things are fleeting. Sigh.

 

My husband's face without the Beard is disturbing.
I also hate when we go to one of our favorite higher end restaurants and have a shitty meal because the B-Crew is on shift. My food was unsalted and my grilled green onions were burnt. It was chicken and sweetbreads rolled and compressed into something then cooked in a towel? And then sliced and lightly fried to crisp it up. It tasted like cat food smells. And there was so much potential. Hub's duck did get to 120* as he likes it, but the fat wasnt rendered and the little 1/4" sweet potato cubes were half raw. I woke up still feeling ill with a nasty headache. And the commies arrived. Ugh.

 

My wife hit a deer with her brand new car. Somehow, I'm on the hook for making everything right.
I'm stuck going to a wedding over the weekend in NY that I really don't want to attend.
The newest portable oxygen concentrater that I bought for the Mrs fails when run at max around 10,000'. Mfr is pissy about accepting it's return.
I'm onboarding 5 new accounts simultaneously at work. The politics and admin doo doo are out of control.

There's only one of me and I'm getting spread a bit thin.

 

I haven't gotten laid since Monday. You can't go that long without and then just get teased in such a way!

 

It's been the little things pissing me off today......the little things. Smh. Just why people can't complete the simplest of tasks.

So here's an update on the bathroom.
The floor is done. Surprisingly, the sub floor under the tub was solid.

I still get to complain tonight, though, because the new outlets I put in don't bloody work.

Feck.

 

Sorry about the outlets but the floor looks nice.

I'm gald that the damage wasn't worse.

If we ever get the foundation repaired, which will be necessary before we get the plumbing replaced, chances are good we'll have to completely rebuild the main bathroom and possibly the middle bedroom.

 

To appropriately use the phrase "to make a long story short", it was my own dumbassitude that caused the problem. I mis-wired one little thing in the light switch that cocked up the whole damn mess. Ended up being an easy fix.
Now we have a complete bathroom again, and the hunt has begun for something new to grouse about.

 

I just learned the reason why my master bathroom toilet groans during refill regardless of how many times they replace the hardware is because some genius hooked it up to the hot water line.

They're going to have to cut a hole in my kitchen ceiling--god knows how big--to find the connection and hook it up to the cold water.

Fuck this builder and their bush league bullshit.

New house shenanigans.

UGH.

 

At least you know it's cleaner than your neighbors', right?
