The Complaining and Bitching Thread

I have a bottle at home right now, still waiting to be cracked open for the right special occasion.

I think it was about $280-300 when I bought it a couple years ago. (I was able to get 6 bottles that year, half of which I sold to friends at my cost.) The problem is that it is basically impossible to purchase anywhere. Every liquor store I know has long waiting lists and seem to only get a bottle or two a year.


I could probably get a black market bottle for about the price you listed. But that is too rich for my blood.

 

I hate my job.

Can I get a do-over?

Almost just died because some lady got on the machine next to mine wearing some kind of scent even though this is a fragrance free facility. I was really scared because suddenly I couldn't catch my breath and my heart rate was really high because I was at the end of an interval.

 

Today is filled with my least favourite kind of work. With luck, I won't have to worry about it again until next week.

(Not holding my breath.)

 

I can't turn it off. I am ruined.

 

Sometimes patience is not my strong suit.

 

The downside to carpooling for the sake of working 25 miles away: sometimes I miss out on jobs because I have to double-check with my carpool buddy (my husband). Oh well. There will be other jobs.

 

This was the first year we actually had to pay something--only state taxes, but still Next year will be worse, I reckon. We didn't get much back from the Feds, and that's okay, as I'd rather they owe me something than have to pay them; my income, in particular, isn't always subject to federal withholding.
