I hate Daylight Savings Time.

It is archaic and dumb. Pick a consistent time and stick to it.

 

Great. The hotel we stayed at last night told me that my husband had checked us out when he left on the airport shuttle, but apparently he did no such thing, and now we have a large hold on our card and no receipt to turn in for reimbursement.

 

That wasn't the "hotel sex" you had in mind. Where, upon departure, you get fucked by the hotel?

 

FWIW, just about any major chain should be able to email a receipt to the person who booked the room and/or whoever's credit card was used.

I figured you'd have an answer, and that was my guess anyway, so I told my husband that he should email them and gave him the hotel's email address.

But I doubt I'll have a response from him about it any time soon as he's in the air at the moment.

 

If you don't get a quick email response, just call. At most hotels the front desk person will answer and have it sent off in literally 2-3 minutes.

Most of the hotels I now stay in are completely paperless with their receipts anyway. By the time I wake up in the morning I have a pdf copy of the bill in my email inbox, pending any charges I might run up before check-out. Considering almost no one uses hotel phones, or buys hotel movies anymore, the only charge I ever have is if I upgrade from the complimentary internet to a higher bandwidth version. If I'm going to do that, I do it right at check-in so it's already on the bill.

 

He'll have to do it with his email so he can have it sent to the company, which I can't do. Thanks for the tips.

 

As much as I love it as a story, I wish they hadn't folded Junjou Mistake into the second season of Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi. For that matter, I want a third season of Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi. I guess I will have to be content with the fact that Junjou Romantica has a third season coming out soon.
