    I will admit...I'm off my game.
    While I've been going out a date...here & there. This is almost by luck not intent.
    And I've screwed up other potentials than those...

    I have recently had two lovely women make advances...and I've been thrown off and stunned by this...to the point I either dismiss myself or lose the moment.
    Why??? :confused:
    I don't object at all to women showing interest...I enjoy it.

    Here I am, wanting to make something happen, encounter someone. And pondering potentials on dating sites too over some length of time.
    Even in "horndog" mode...where my hormones are making me eyeball anything that moves.
    BUT
    Given the chance...in the moment...I hesitate.
    There is NO ambiguity from them, which I normally bitch about...still I miss the beat.

    Am I that damaged??
    Am I unnecessarily anxious and self-conscious.

    Sure, I'm not as established as I'd like to be after everything...rebuilding it all.
    But ladies are not that ruthless...other guys can date without "having it all together"

    I need to let go.
    Forgive and forget.
    Start being the good-ol' easy going me.

    But all I can hear in my head & heart is "don't take the risk"
    even though...that's exactly what you have to do.
    You have to put yourself out there and be receptive...back & forth.

    I wonder if it's like periodic PTSD...not always, but enough that it makes me edgy and hesitant at times.

    I don't know, but it pisses me off about myself when beautiful women (who like me) "get away" like that
    because of my own lack of ability to leverage an opportunity to connect.
    Friggin' idiot. :rolleyes:

    The Republicans win never in Oregon, their chances of winning the Governor's Seat are worse than the General Lee doing a 200 foot jump with the occupants not wearing seatbelts and getting more than a light bump on the landing or a slight scratch. Portland is by far the largest collection of voters that carry the most weight where it matters, and that group is solid Democrats.

    Damned cold medication is causing me to go pee every 30 minutes. To make it worse I'm drinking plenty of water because the decongestant makes me thirsty, and hot tea makes my sore throat feel better.

    My wife bitches about me watching The Walking Dead. Well, boo-fucking-hoo. I remind her that I don't like Hawaii Five O, NCIS LA, NCIS New Orleans, Leverage, Criminal Minds, etc.

    Our Republicans went the loony moral route, rather than an economic one, this year. The commercials and calls are insulting.
