The Complaining and Bitching Thread

So my first day at work was pretty cool but some puss bucket decided to steal the custom bike pack off my bike.
I've had my locked up at the library dozens of times and never had an issue but the first time I go to work there...

The have a bike rack inside so I won't have to worry about something like that happening again but dammit I liked that pack.

 

Fuck. This. Shit.
I'm not giving any more suggestions or guidance, I'm not doing any more transition appointments, I'm not giving in to bullying by new interns. And I'm not picking up any more fucking dishes. It's Grow Up Time. Pick up your shit, turn off the lights, clean up the water from your shower. Don't joke with or challenge my clients about me or my perceptions of them. Don't threaten them with texts to me. If you want to go in and bulldoze people, that's your shit. Keep me the fuck out of it.
You'll either learn, or you'll fail. But do NOT fucking try to hang onto me... I'm no life preserver. I need to get the hell out of here and there are only 7 more days and 8.5 hours until I leave for home.
Don't fucking ruin it for me.
When I'm gone, you do whatever you want. Until then, have a little respect for yourself and the experiences of others. You'll get the electric bill and THEN you'll believe me. I'm so burnt up inside. It's all ashy in there.

Yup, boo hooing all over the place because my emotions are so raw. I can't find a safe place. I may just drive this weekend.

Y'know, I actually had some plans for my birthday that didn't involve writhing in agony (despite my supposed high pain tolerance) and spending more than the entire day in the hospital.

 

Our trip to Manhattan yesterday was a nightmare. The first 110 miles took an hour and a half. The last 6 miles took about 2 hours. Geez.

 

Ouch...

Damn I miss New York!

 

This Tramadol is not working.
I'm looped out of my mind, per usual, but my head still really hurts. That fecking massage therapist really screwed me over.
Found more bruising on the fronts of my shoulder joints, my lower back, base of my skull, left glute, and two halfway up my back on either side of my spine.
Ran the trails today, got lost, got attacked by droves of mosquitos, drove to Beaumont for boudain and chopped beef, gave myself a migraine, got travel to the Orlando conference squared away, caught up on The Strain and MasterChef. And now my head still hurts, I'm dopey, but I can't sleep.
I leave The LC in 4 days and 6 hours.

 

HAH! Try taking the bus in Houston. There is a good reason why so many people here have vehicles..

 

Helluva roller coaster weekend. Yesterday, the MIL was nearly catatonic. Tonight she's paranoid and begging my wife to come to her at 11 pm.

...and so a long year gets a bit longer....
