This uhaul truck has tires out of balance. Wants to shake itself apart over 65 miles per hour. Only 600 miles in two days.

 

Doing the paperwork for my new job and had to mark myself as single.
Can't tell you how much I hated that.

 

The signs our company had us post as notice that we would be closed Monday feature a man in a hardhat on hands and knees looking sad while a smiling like guy in a suit and tie stands on his back to reach his goal of nailing up a banner stating "Happy Labor Day." Oblivious much?

 

The whole city flooded. Our new intern, and a good friend of mine, lost his new apartment to flooding today. He moved his entire life here, with his wife and 15 month old son. They'd only spent one night in the unit, after having to be in hotels all week because it wasn't ready. This shit is not fair. We make less than $12k a year on internship. And no one can afford to replace everything after the cost of moving down on Tuesday. And, they have to look for a new place. I hate Louisiana, it's just not right.

What idiot approved that sign? Back when I was in a labor union (before the oil bust and Raygun castrated unions) that sign would've caused some serious problems.

 

They should have used this one.

 

My new roommate brought a horrifying cold with her.
Apparently, it's also highly contagious. I caught it in under 24 hours.
I just wanted to to crawl back in bed and sleep it off.

 

Can I use my cat being irresistibly adorable as a legitimate reason for not going in to work this morning?

So we go to the movies and I buy popcorn and a drink and pay for everything. First he bitches about why didn't I get popcorn for each of us or the large size. Then he bitches about how the popcorn's not that great. Then I offer to go somewhere to eat afterwards and he bitches about me pointing and not saying the name of the restaurant and is like "why can't you say the name like I was asking!" Glad I finally told him I don't like him at the moment..spoiled fucker...my ex. Don't know why I put up with that bitchy whiny entitled behavior for so long.
