FTR, my like was sympathy, not liking what is happening with your aging parent.

Which I probably didn't need to explain.

My not-so-new-anymore office neighbor needs to stop:
    1. Spending so much time talking on the phone
    2. Using the phrase "Awesome sauce!"

    @DamnitAll,

    Amazeballs.

    ...

    Today's complaint:

    Cliche office bro-dawg dude-talk.

"What are you tryin' to say about the West coast?"

"You're not a _team_ fan, are you?"

    "Those IT guys... pfft!"

    Ugh, flush that shit.

Puffed-up competitive white collar male doo-doo banter.

I don't watch sports, don't know the difference between the coasts and I'm not a desk jockey.

I'm surrounded by mountains but stuck in a house.

My SO is with her family in the B.C. interior right now.

    Four more days to go....

(Also, I can stop getting new work anytime now. This isn't the week for it.)

GRRRR. My scale died halfway through measuring out ingredients for shokupan. I'm very irritated, as my recipe (one of my own devising) is written entirely in grams (as bread recipes should be; ounces are for n00bs, and forget cups).

No worries, Chris. I understood it completely. I appreciate the support.

Ugh, still have a few things to cross off my to-do list today but my motivation vanished. :(

You know that guy who constantly opts out of family gatherings, events, etc., because he's too busy with work?

    Yeah, I've become that guy.

I cog tested a woman in her 80s who was regurgitating her entire breakfast. Slowly. Over TWO hours. All I smell is eggs and sausage. I want to puke.

My father-in-law bought LIMBURGER. Definitely not an easy house guest.

Rapidly reaching the point where caring for a 90-year old is starting to resemble caring for a 4-year old.......and not just the physical part....

On my so-called vacation, I've decided to wake up at 6 a.m. so I don't have to work past midnight. How much fun am I having?

    It's only 9 a.m., and I'm already behind schedule.

fflowley Don't just do something, stand there!

I never enjoyed working more than 7 days in a row but I'm getting less good at handling it.
Tomorrow is day 10 and I'm having a hard time keeping my shit together.

Been there for ages now until quite recently. Last time was the Christmas 2013 picture when my parents were in town and oddly enough the 80 hour/week work schedule got in the way.
Now I have the more reasonable work hours but not enough money situation. Oh well.

Send me all the fucking reports you want. I'm still going to the mountains in five hours.

(But, seriously, six in a week?)
