I picked up a 1.75 of Makers Mark and a bottle of Macallen. Hopefully that will help.

 

My current form of procrastination has become working on other work rather than the work I should be working on.

I can't wait until June.

 

Are you saying that you don't think hitting him over the head with a 1.75 glass bottle will work?

My MIL loves me, and as long as she gives me a decent amount of space I'm fine with that. My FIL is a bully and a control freak. Of his four children, three sons-in-law, and one daughter-in-law we are the only ones he can't boss around. I don't get bullied and refuse to fake anything, so that doesn't play well with him. Usually anymore he plays nice so I put up with it, but there have been a handful of blow ups over the years where he went ballistic, then went ballistic again because my response is a simple 'no, that's not going to work for us', I don't budge, and I'll excuse myself or hang up when he tries to push harder. It grates on him that he can't push me like he can others. I believe he finally realized it 2-3 years ago and it has been relatively peaceful since, but I still don't trust him or want to spend much time around him. And, knowing all the gory details, my wife agrees, despite loving her father. I figure if even she can see it and thinks I'm being reasonable, then oh well.

 

But what if I WANT to bludgeon him? You know, for stress release?
