No surprise, then, that this was pioneered in the Netherlands, where cycling is safer and much more respected than in the United States. That is to say, the technology and hardware are perfectly safe; it's the cycling environment in most of the US that leaves much more to be desired.

 

I don't want to ride with her in a wagon because of this reason. Other people are stupid. Other motorists. Other cyclists. They piss me off.

I yelled at a cyclist today for riding on the wrong side of the street. Turns out it was the receptionist at my former position that I always wanted to stab in the face with my scissors.

 

Nearly every square inch of my thighs and glutes are sore today....ouch
