The more you work with Google Books, the more critical pages you find are missing or illegible.

Apparently this was the result of "good enough" scanning.

    Fuck.

There were many duplexes in the area of Toronto I grew up. Regular, middle-class folks lived in 'em. I don't even recall the people next door as the backyard had a big hedge and the front doors were spaced quite apart. I actually prefer a duplex but there are not too many here in our area.
We bought the condo because I wanted my kids to be in a great school district but we couldn't afford a detached-house or even townhouse. This was in fact a converted apartment-to-condo but the only one I've seen that is two storys. We have a huge, finished basement.
Kids are long outta public school but the hubs works across the street (OK, 1.5 miles down the road). Moving anywhere else would mean an increase in commuting and decrease in his walking and biking.
Sorry, I'm rambling. Am tired. Also, I want a garage for the car.

I know, right? I'll admit it. I wasn't sure and looked it up. I jumped in mid thread (a bad habit of mine) and had no context is the excuse that I'm sticking with.
Baraka_Guru makes me nervous about my sentence structure.

I looked it up, as well.
Ever since learning @Baraka_Guru was studying how to round-house kick less than diligent diarists, or what have you, I've been trying to watch my p's and q's.

Glad you're back. Sorry about your Internet hookup. I figured that your place was broken into again and your Interblogz Machine was stolen. Or that you moved to Curaçao.

    ...

Yeah, he gets drunk and corrects your grammar with so. much. hate. in his heart.

    True story.

I thought that he drank some type of hallucinogenic tea (hot & neat, of course) as part of a sacred grammar correcting ritual.

    I could be wrong.

I didn't know what you were talking about at first, and then I realized you actually mean "Baraka is learning how to effectively roundhouse kick less-than-diligent diarists" rather than "Baraka is trying to figure out how to roundhouse kick fewer times than diarists who happen to be diligent."

Fuck, @Fremen ! Holy Jesus, fuck!

And the White House needs to publicly honor God, apparently.

I actually typed out, "which one?" before catching myself and hitting backspace.

There's a dentist in Texas, Don McLeroy, who believes that. Unfortunately he was appointed as chairman of the Texas State Board of Education (TSBOE) by conservative governor Rick Perry. Which is odd because in theory TSBOE is an idependent advisory group with no ties to the government. What a clever way to sidestep the issue of separation of church and state in public education. In practice most TSBOE members are conservative Christians who fight every effort to bring public education in Texas into the 21st century. The agenda of the TSBOE very closely matches the agenda of our conservative Christian politicians. It's amazing how important family values, Christian beliefs, and pro-life views become around election time.

Their politics are Tea Party without the antisemitism, something I got in serious trouble for pointing out.
