    The project that I and three of my classmates have been working on is being scrapped for the year due to an inability to run our second test. This is due to an inadequate piece of equipment.

    Now, for my capstone project for my years in this program, I have to go up in front of my peers and tell them that we have no usable data to present.

    Fuck all.

    At first I was a bit doubtful, but now I honestly don't think I'll get a single day off in April. The best I can do is minimize the number of evenings I have to work.

    Having a night off is now really feeling like having the day off.

    I used to make about as much as a recent college graduate. Now I make about as much as a freelancing recent college graduate.

    I also live in the "New York City" of Canada.

    Or is it LA? Chicago? I can't remember.

    Anyway, I should have gotten into the trades like my father.
