    Wow. My uterus is very angry--woke me up in the middle of the night angry. Couldn't sleep for a couple of hours due to the pain, despite taking something for it. It seems to have calmed now. I hope it stays that way. I have a very busy weekend ahead.

    We seriously need to visit my M&FIL today, so we're going to. Neither of us is looking forward to it. About two hours roundtrip driving, if traffic isn't bad.

    We also need to go grocery shopping (again?!) to get the ingredients we need for a veggie dish and desert we're taking to an Easter dinner tomorrow. This is good because we really need to spend some time with my family for a change.

    Changing the vent on the dryer isn't as easy as I thought it would be. But I'm happy to say in the case of Sneaker vs. Dryer Vent- I am victorious!

    I also found a dime underneath the dryer. Thanks, Mimi. Needed that reminder of you on this holiday weekend.

    Aaaaaand instead of just having a head cold, it's a fully-blown case of sinusitis. Beautiful.

    I've decided to take a radical approach to being sick this time around; sleeping a lot. Contrary to what I used to believe, it's actually helping a lot more than just pushing through the sickness (what I usually do). Go figure.

    Currently boiling water for my neti pot.

    Seriously. I kept trying to get away from his conversation. He works on the backend of a website for a big retailer, and he and his wife don't have much of a social life, so that's pretty much all he has to talk about. Work, on and on and on. He takes silence as a cue to keep talking about more work when it's really that people just aren't interested.

    It was really hard to say, "Just shut up already and let someone else talk!" We had big news for the family today regarding our new adventure, yet we felt like we couldn't get in a word in edgewise, and whatever my husband said, his brother tried to one-up. "Oh, it's just an internship."

    WOULD YOU QUIT BEING A JERK ALREADY!

    Ugh, and I have to go deal with him again tomorrow. Double Easter sucks. I'm not doing this again ever, and I'm spending Christmas in Hawaii.

    So yesterday I had already driven 250 miles with my twin 3 yo girls to visit my girlfriend over easter. I am a mile from her apartment when I get rear ended in a four car collision. Fortunately minor damage for my 188,000 mile Subaru. Insurance would not have otherwise paid enough for me to replace it if it was totaled. Just goes to show that you can be a really good driver and shit will still find you.
